I wanted to wind 9 cones of yarn all at once to save time so needed a cone stand to use with the DIY Horizontal Warping Mill that the husband and I engineered. I've seen people use milk crates for this so started looking around the house for something suitable. I spied the small portable storage rack in the bathroom and thought...ah ha! I put the contents on the bathroom counter and rolled it into the Loom Room. Voila. Worked great! It held 8 of the 9 cones. I now have the perfect little cone stand that I can roll around wherever it's needed. Only drawback is that I need to get another one for the bathroom! :)
