Now that Little Gem, the 22" Harrisville Designs Loom that I have been restoring is up and running like a dream, I've had time to practice with the new treadling sequence and move on to an actual project.
It took me a while to figure it out but I finally decided on doing M & W weave structure. I haven't had the chance to weave this structure yet and felt this would be a good one to start with. I will be doing napkins, placemats and a table runner to match. Here's the files for the napkins. I'll be posting the placemats and table runner when I get around to warping up for those, so look for future posts. These are designed to be used with 8/2 unmercierized cotton at 24epi. The finished dimensions of the napkins are designed to be 13 inches x 13 inches. There is a rolled hem allowance of 1 inch. The napkins will have a plain weave border of about 1/2 inch all around.
Here's the information I'll be using from Pixeloom's "Project Planner":
